This project is more than just a home; it is a case study in modern construction methodology, where we are moving away from traditional “chip-and-patch” techniques to embrace seamless, structural integrity.
The Vision: A Grand Scale
Located on a massive 21,452 sqft site, this farmhouse is designed to be a sanctuary of peace and luxury. The structure, spanning Ground + First Floor, commands a total built-up area of 6,200 sqft.
However, the real innovation lies in how we are building it.
Innovation in Masonry: The “No-Chipping” Approach
In conventional construction, walls are often built first, and then hammered or “chipped” open to create channels for electrical pipes (conduits). This vibration can cause micro-cracks in the masonry, and the subsequent patching often leads to uneven plastering or visible lines over time.
For this farmhouse, we have adopted a superior method using Smart Bricks supplied by Earth Blocks.
How We Do It: Instead of damaging the wall later, we are integrating the electrical infrastructure during the masonry phase itself.
- Parallel Alignment: As the smart bricks are laid, our electrical and civil teams work in unison. Electrical conduits are inserted vertically through the hollows or pre-planned cavities of the bricks in perfect parallel alignment.
- Structural Integrity: Because we eliminate the need for wall chipping, the bricks remain 100% intact, preserving the full structural strength of the wall.
- A Seamless Finish: This technique removes the need for "packing works" (filling holes with mortar). The result is a wall that is solid, smooth, and ready for plaster or direct exposure.
Precision Engineering with Specialized Tools
To complement the high-quality Earth Blocks, our skilled masons utilize specialized tools designed for precision.
Uniform Mortar Thickness: We ensure that the mortar bed between every layer of brick is consistent. This is crucial not just for aesthetics, but for the even distribution of load across the wall.
Expert Pointing: The brick pointing (the finish of the joints between bricks) is carried out with extreme care. This results in a neat, durable finish that highlights the natural beauty of the material.
